Bulldogs Outlast Glendale in Five to Close 2025 Season with a Win
SANTA MARIA, Calif. – Allan Hancock College closed out its 2025 season with a gritty 3–2 road win over Glendale on November 14, 2025. | BOX SCORE
The Bulldogs jumped out fast, taking the first two sets 25–15 and 25–13 before Glendale surged back to claim the third and fourth (13–25, 7–25). Hancock steadied in the fifth, closing the match with a clutch 27–25 finish to secure the season finale.
Sophomore outside hitter Emma Olney put on a monster performance, leading all players with 28 kills, hitting .410, and adding 17 digs for a decisive double-double. Ashlee Robinson added 8 kills, while Tiara Downing contributed 5 kills on .308 efficiency.
In the backcourt, Morgan Doss was outstanding with 34 digs, driving Hancock's defensive stability. Setter Shanyce Valadez chipped in 10 assists, 11 digs, and 2 aces, and Myranda Miranda rounded out the attack with 3 kills, 12 digs, and a block.
Hancock's resilience in the fifth set — anchored by back-row defense and Olney's late kills — sealed a strong, hard-earned win to close the 2025 campaign.
