ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS/SPORTS INFORMATION

The Allan Hancock College Athletic Communications Office serves as the direct liaison between the college's sponsored sports at the media/local community. The office also serves the needs of the national and international media that cover AHC Athletics and our student-athletes. 

MEDIA INFORMATION

Media Credentials:
All requests for press, photo, and parking credentials must be requested via the form below or by email. Due to the number of requests submitted at certain events and the rising number of independent content creators, some requests may be denied a credential. All individuals being granted media credentials must be over the age of 18. 

Interview Policy:
All interviews with coaches, student-athletes, and other personnel of the department MUST be arranged through the Athletic Communications Office. In-person interviews for coaches and student-athletes may be scheduled before or after practice, as well as following sporting events. Phone interviews may also be scheduled with coordination of the Athletic Communications Office.

Photography/Videography:
Photographers and videographers, with media pass credentials from AHC, are permitted to shoot sporting events from designated areas that do not affect play. Please contact the Athletic Communications Office for passes/credentials. All individuals without official AHC credentials will be denied access for coverage. 

Visiting Radio/Internet/Television Broadcasters:
Media outlets wishing to broadcast sporting events at Allan Hancock must contact the Athletic Communications Office and receive credentialing prior to the event. A phone line or internet connection (wireless or wired) may be provided, if available and requested.

Credentials should be requested at least 48 hours prior to the requested event. If the request is approved, a follow-up email will be sent to the requestor that specifies credential pick-up information and will contain a link to the college's required policies/liability waiver.
