Bulldogs Rally for Road Win at West LA, 3-1
CULVER CITY, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's volleyball team bounced back from a slow start to earn a four-set road victory over West LA College (20–25, 25–18, 25–15, 25–19) in a non-conference matchup on Friday evening. | BOX SCORE
After dropping the opening set, the Bulldogs (7-6) regrouped and controlled the next three frames with steady serving and a balanced attack. Hancock's defense was equally effective, holding the hosting Wildcats (2–7) to a negative hitting percentage (-.057) for the match.
Emma Olney led the offense with 18 kills on a .349 hitting percentage, while also collecting 14 digs and contributing on the block. Freshman Bailey Ware added 7 kills and a solo block to the mix, while Ashlee Robinson chipped in 5 kills and a block assist. Michelle Rodriguez paced the offense with 27 assists and seven digs while working alongside libero Morgan Doss, who anchored the back row with a team-high 17 digs and 5 service aces. Jordyn Thomas rounded out the list of key performers with a defensive spark that featured 15 digs from the backcourt.
The Bulldogs are set to wrap up non-conference action at home on Wednesday, September 24th, against Antelope Valley College at 6 PM inside of the Joe White Memorial Gymnasium.
