Women's Golf Continues Season at WSC #7
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's golf program struggled throughout the day at the seventh Western State Conference tournament of the season, hosted at the Sundale Country Club, on Monday.
The Bulldogs landed in fifth place out of seven scoring programs after carding a four-player score of 385 on the day. College of the Canyons won the event with a final tally of 346, followed by Moorpark College (356) and Santa Barbara City College (363).
Zan McGovern, who took fourth place individually after shooting 80, was the lone top-10 finisher for Hancock.
The Bulldogs will conclude the regular season schedule as the host of the two-day WSC Championships being played Oct. 26-27. The opening round will be held at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Arroyo Grande. The action concludes at Santa Maria Country Club the following day.
