Women's Golf Finishes Second at WSC #5
SAN DIMAS, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's golf team secured second place while competing in the fifth Western State Conference (WSC) tournament of the season, hosted at the San Dimas Golf Course, on Monday afternoon.
The Bulldogs finished just nine strokes off of the top spot with a four-player score of 350, landing behind College of the Canyons (341) and ahead of Santa Barbara City College (356). Zan McGovern led the way for AHC with a fourth place finish after shooting 78 on the day, while Ally Price tied for eighth with a final tally of 88 and Kaitlin Acosta tied for 10th with 89.
Hancock is scheduled to resume action on MOnday, October 6th, at the Encino Golf Course for the next conference event.
