Women's Golf Opens Season at Olivas Links

VENTURA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College women's golf program opened the 2025 season by competing in the Chuck Melendez Invitational at the Olivas Links Golf Course on Monday. The event also served as the first Western State Conference (WSC) event of the year, with seven league schools competing in total. 

The Bulldogs turned in a four-player score of 385, placing them in fourth through the field of seven. The all-freshman squad was led by Zan McGovern, who notched a top-three finish with a final tally of 80 strokes. 

Hancock is set to return to action on Monday, September 8th, at the Santa Barbara Golf Course.
