NEXT LEVEL: Alyssa Reyes Signs with Dean College
FRANKLIN, Mass. - Allan Hancock College women's basketball guard, Alyssa Reyes, will continue her academic and athletic career at Dean College next season.
"I chose Dean College because they have an amazing Criminal Justice program," Reyes shared. "I also really like the coaching staff and what the core of the team is all about."
Reyes wrapped up her second season with the Bulldogs this spring. She averaged 2.7 points, 3.63 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while starting in 16 of her 28 appearances. The Santa Maria native registered 76 total points on the season and finished with a 30.6 percent mark from the field.
"Hancock has helped me in so many ways, but for sure it has helped me learn so much more about myself," Reyes added. "My time here taught me to be more mentally and physically tough. I think AHC was the best stepping stone that I've had. Being here challenged me and made me better, both as a person and as a student-athlete."
The Bulldogs are a Division III member of the NCAA and compete in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.
