Lady Bulldogs Earn Conference Win Over Cuesta
SANTA MARIA, Calif. — Allan Hancock College women's basketball used a dominant third-quarter surge to earn a conference victory on Saturday, defeating Cuesta College Cougars and improving to 2–0 in conference play.

After a tightly contested first half, Hancock took control coming out of the locker room, outscoring Cuesta 21–4 in the third quarter. The decisive run created separation and shifted the momentum firmly in the Bulldogs' favor, as Hancock turned defensive stops into scoring opportunities on the other end.
Anastasia Drolette led the Bulldogs with 15 points, providing a steady offensive presence throughout the game. Bree Luna added 11 points and was effective at the free throw line, going 6-for-8, helping Hancock maintain its advantage down the stretch.
With the win, Hancock improves to 2–0 in conference play. The Bulldogs will return to action on Tuesday, January 14, hosting LA Mission Eagles at 7 p.m.
