WOMEN'S SOFTBALL SHUT OUT IN RAIN SHORTENED GAME

SANTA CLARITA - The Allan Hancock College softball team was shut out by College of the Canyons, 6-0, in a game shortened by rain.

Hancock (2-8) received a well pitched game by Angela Martinez (Fr., Santa Maria HS), but the defense behind her committed four errors. Catcher Vanessa Acevedo (Fr., Righetti HS) hit a double in the third inning for the only hit for AHC.

The Bulldogs return home for their next game, where they will host Glendale on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 2:30 p.m.
