SOFTBALL DROPS 6-2 DECISION AT SANTA BARBARA

SANTA BARBARA-- The Allan Hancock College softball team was defeated in a Western State Conference game at Santa Barbara on Thursday, 6-2.

Hancock (4-18, 3-10 WSC) started off on a good foot, as Stephanie Silva opened the game with a double and scored on Dalia Daniels' two-run single later in the inning. SBCC did all the scoring from that point on, as pitcher Crystal Garcia (4-6) was tagged with the loss.

The Bulldogs will resume their WSC scheduled at home Tuesday with a double-header versus Moorpark College, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
