SOFTBALL BESTS GLENDALE IN MAKE-UP GAME, 10-7

GLENDALE-- In a make-up game played after two cancellations earlier this season, the Allan Hancock College softball team posted a 10-7 Western State Conference win at Glendale on Tuesday.

Hancock (5-21, 4-13 WSC) pounded out 11 hits and benefitted from four Vaquero errors to get the win. The Bulldog offense did most of its damage in a four-run third inning and four-run sixth.

AHC's offensive highlights included an RBI-triple by Stephanie Silva and an RBI-double by Clarissa Ruiz in the fourth and a two-RBI double by Nika Miller with the bases loaded in the sixth.

The Bulldogs return home for a WSC single game against Los Angeles Pierce College on Thursday, beginning at 2:30 p.m.
