SOFTBALL FALLS TO CUESTA, 9-2

SAN LUIS OBISPO-- The Allan Hancock College softball team dropped a 9-2 Western State Conference decision at Cuesta on Thursday.

Hancock (4-17, 3-9 WSC) led 2-1 going into the fifth inning, then came apart defensively. Sophomore pitcher Crystal Garcia (4-5) took the loss. Stephanie Silva opened the Bulldog scoring lead with an RBI triple in the third. Kerry Malcom gave AHC its short-lived lead with an RBI double in the fifth.

AHC returns to action in a 2:30 p.m. start on Apr. 8 at Santa Barbara City College.
