L.A. VALLEY DEFEATS AHC SOFTBALL TEAM

SANTA MARIA-- The Allan Hancock College women's softball team fell to visiting L.A. Valley, 12-1, in a Western State Conference game Tuesday.

Hancock (3-10, 2-4 WSC) was led by Freshman catcher Lena Felix and sophomore shortstop Stephanie Silva, who each produced two hits. Sophomore pitcher Crystal Garcia suffered the loss.

The Bulldogs will play a non-conference double-header at Cypress College on Saturday, before returning to Western State Conference play against inter-county rival Santa Barbara at home on Tuesday (Mar. 16).
