SOFTBALL DROPS TWO WSC GAMES IN BUSY WEEK
BAKERSFIELD-- The Allan Hancock College softball team concluded a busy week with two Western State Conference losses, 9-1 to L.A. Mission on Wednesday and 9-0 to Bakersfield on Thursday.
For Hancock (3-9, 2-3 WSC) the road losses came on the heels of a resounding 11-0 win over visiting Santa Monica on Tuesday. The game at L.A. Valley on Wednesday was a rain make-up.
Bakersfield's Lindsey Vincent, easily among the best JC pitchers in the state, limited AHC to one hit, a Dalia Daniels' single. She also belted a two-run home run for the Renegades in the sixth. Against L.A. Mission, Crystal Garcia led an otherwise sluggish Bulldog offense, going 2-for-3.
AHC returns to its WSC schduled on Tuesday (Mar. 9), with a 2:30 p.m. start at home against Los Angeles Valley.
