Bulldogs Cap Historic Cross Country Season at 3C2A State Championships
FRESNO, Calif. – Allan Hancock College wrapped up a historic and program-defining cross country season at the 3C2A State Championships on Saturday, delivering one of the strongest collective performances the program has produced in recent memory. The men's squad earned a competitive 16th-place finish out of 24, while the women's team—now a three-straight-year state qualifier—secured 22nd overall, reinforcing the consistency and upward trajectory of the program.
Men Land Top-20 Finish Behind Gutierrez's All-State Effort
Sophomore John Gutierrez closed out his breakout season in elite territory, earning Second Team All-State honors with a sharp 20:46.55 to place 21st overall.
Erick Marceleno added a strong scoring effort of his own, running 21:44.51 for 83rd place, helping anchor Hancock's top-20 finish in a deep state field. |MENS RESULTS
Women Extend State Streak With Two Top-51 Finishers
The women's program continued its impressive postseason reliability, making its third consecutive State Championship appearance.
