Hancock Men and Women Post Solid Results at SoCal Preview Meet
SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's and women's cross country teams both delivered solid performances at the highly competitive SoCal Preview/Manny Bautista XC Invite, held recently against a strong field of regional talent. | FULL RESULTS
The men's team finished 12th out of 23 teams, showcasing depth and determination in a challenging race. Leading the charge was John Gutierrez, who turned in an outstanding individual effort, placing 3rd overall out of nearly 200 runners with a time of 20:32.20. Gutierrez's performance was a highlight for the team and bodes well for the rest of the season.
On the women's side, the team secured 15th place out of 21 teams. Peyton Miya was the top finisher for the Lady Bulldogs, crossing the line in 34th place amidst a strong field. Her effort helped solidify the team's competitive presence at the meet.
Next up, Allan Hancock heads to Moorpark College for the WSC Championships on October 24th, aiming to improve on their strong start.
