Cross Country Continues Season at Clovis Invitational
FRESNO, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College cross country teams continued the season by competing in the Clovis Invitational, hosted at Woodward Park in Fresno, on Saturday afternoon. The event also doubled as the State Preview meet with 253 men and 155 women racing on the course. | FULL RESULTS
The men's team took 18th out of 23 scoring programs with a final total of 444. Erick Marceleno was tops for the Bulldogs with a 45th place finish and a final time of 22:00.76. John Gutierrez followed in 79th (22:39.41) along with another top-100 finish coming from Aidan Burke (99th / 23:09.91).
The women's team placed 14th out of 15 scoring programs with a final tally of 336. Peyton Miya led the way for the team as the lone top-20 finisher with a time of 19:48.53. Rylie Allen also broke through the top-100 for the Bulldogs with a 63rd place performance (21:49.03).
Hancock will be back in action on Friday, September 12th, at the WSC Preview Meet at the Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura.
