SANTA MARIA, Calif. — The Allan Hancock College men's soccer team dominated both halves to blank Citrus College 4–0 on Friday afternoon at home. | BOX SCORE
The Bulldogs (3–3–3) outshot the visiting Owls 19–4 and finished with an 11–1 edge in shots on goal while posting a 7–1 advantage in corners. Keeper Max Brewster made one save to secure the clean sheet en route to his x shutout of the season.
Juan Zarate opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, finishing a service from Ronnie Ayala. Jared Moreno doubled the lead just four minutes later on another shot that was set up by Ayala. Pablo Resendiz pushed it to three with an unassisted second-half strike before J. Moreno bagged his second goal of the day with a helper from Angelo Nunez in the 89th.
Hancock will return to action on the road at Glendale College on Friday, September 26th, for a 6:30 PM non-conference showdown.
