MEN'S SOCCER TIES CANYONS IN WSC OPENER

SANTA CLARITA-- Coach Al Garcia's Allan Hancock College men's soccer team battlet to a scoreless tie in its Western State Conference opener at College of the Canyons on Friday.

The Bulldogs (3-1-1, 0-0-1) received an outstanding performance from its defense, which allowed just four shots on goal that were saved by goalkeeper Francisco Hernandez. Coach Garcia praised the pay of midfielder Javier Calderon as the key to AHC's defensive success.

Hancock will continue its WSC schedule at Santa Barbara City College on Tuesday.
