Bulldogs play to yet another tie

TAFT — The Hancock College men's soccer team finished its non-conference schedule on a slightly down note, losing a late one-goal lead to finish with a 2-2 tie against Taft Thursday.

The Cougars opened the scoring with a goal in the 53rd minute. Hancock (6-3-3) answered a minute later when Billy Barbaree blasted in a free kick from 25 yards out.

Isaac Torres then made it a 2-1 lead in the 66th minute. However, a defensive breakdown in the 69th minute gave Taft the equalizer and cemented the result.
