NEXT LEVEL: Noah Morris Heading to Western Oregon
MONMOUTH, Ore. - Allan Hancock College center, Noah Morris, has signed on to continue his academic and athletic career at Western Oregon University next season.
"I chose Western Oregon because I felt that it would be the best fit for me in terms of development. I really like the coaching staff and trust their vision for success," Morris shared.
Morris completed his second season on the court for the Bulldogs in February. The product of Arroyo Grande High School was named as the Western State Conference (North) Defensive Player of the Year. Morris anchored the Bulldogs defensively all season while also producing offensively, averaging 12.2 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to go along with 0.6 blocks per contest.
"I think AHC prepared me for the next level in many ways - including the importance of resiliency, hard work, and dedication. I feel that playing at the JUCO level really tests your love for the game and it showed me that I really do love this sporta nd want to put my all into it," Morris added. "The coaching staff here helped me realize how important great coaching is to a successful program. When I started the recruiting process for the next level, I made sure to try to find coaches that have similar qualities to the coaching staff here at Hancock."
The Wolves are a Division II member of the NCAA and compete in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
