Five Bulldogs Earn All-Conference Honors in Western State Conference North
SANTA MARIA, Calif. - The Allan Hancock College men's basketball team earned several postseason honors from the Western State Conference North, highlighted by Noah Morris being named the Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
Morris anchored the Bulldogs defensively all season while also producing offensively, averaging 12.2 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to go along with 1 block per contest. His presence in the paint and on the glass helped establish Hancock as one of the conference's toughest defensive teams.
The Bulldogs also placed two players on the All-Conference First Team with Arlind Konjuhi and Trenton Lavender receiving the recognition. Konjuhi led Hancock offensively, averaging 15.3 points per game while shooting 40.4% from the field and an impressive 88% from the free throw line. Lavender added 13.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game, providing steady scoring and playmaking throughout the season.
Two more Bulldogs earned Honorable Mention honors. TJ Hollinger averaged 7.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while recording 1.2 steals per game and serving as one of Hancock's top on-ball defenders. Mehki Grant contributed 5.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game, making an impact on both ends of the floor with his defensive activity.
The Bulldogs capped the season with a postseason berth and a first-round playoff victory, highlighting a successful year for the program and the strong contributions from this group of players.
