Second-Half Surge Lifts Bulldogs to 77–70 Win
SANTA MARIA, Calif. — A dominant second-half surge powered Allan Hancock College men's basketball to a 77–70 home victory Wednesday afternoon at Joe White Gymnasium.

After a tightly contested opening half, Hancock raised its level after the break, shooting an impressive 76 percent from the field in the second half and outscoring the visitors 44–36. The Bulldogs controlled the tempo, punished the paint, and created extra possessions to pull away down the stretch.
Noah Morris delivered a standout performance inside, finishing with 24 points and 17 rebounds on 10-of-11 shooting while anchoring the Bulldogs on both ends of the floor. Trenten Lavender added 11 points and six assists, and Arlind Konjuhi chipped in 11 points and five assists to keep the offense balanced.
Hancock's physicality proved decisive, as the Bulldogs held a 42–16 advantage in points in the paint and a 25–5 edge in second-chance points. The Bulldogs also leaned on their depth, getting 25 points from the bench to maintain pressure throughout the second half.
The win moves Allan Hancock to 1–0 in conference play and provides early momentum as the Bulldogs look to build consistency heading deeper into the league schedule.
Allan Hancock returns to action on Saturday, January 10, traveling to face Cuesta in a 1 p.m. conference matchup.
