Bulldogs Blitz Hartnell in Season Opener, 93–69
SALINAS, Calif. – The Allan Hancock College men's basketball team opened the season in strong form, securing a convincing 93–69 victory on the road against Hartnell College in a non-conference showing to start the 2025-26 campaign. | BOX SCORE
The Bulldogs' balance and shot-making set the tone early. Hancock (1-0) hit 58.5% from the field and 42.1% from three, stacking a 49–30 cushion at the break and keeping the hosting Panthers (0-2) at arm's length the rest of the way. AHC's defense turned Hartnell over 11 times and limited second chances with a 35–24 rebounding edge (13 offensive).
Trenten Lavender led the scoring punch with 16 points, attacking the floor with confidence. Noah Morris anchored the interior, finishing with 15 points and 10 rebounds, providing steady production in the paint.
Adam Silmon (13 points) and Arlind Konjuhi (11 points) stretched the defense with timely perimeter scoring. Off the bench, TJ Hollinger chipped in with eight points and five rebounds, while a freshman trio - Mansour Sanneh, Mehki Grant, and DD Williams - added six points apiece. Sanneh added two blocks to his line while Williams snagged six boards.
The Bulldogs are set to resume action with a two-day trip up the road at the Hinson's Tire Pros Winter Classic, hosted by Cuesta College, on November 7-8. They'll match up against College of the Sequoias on day one before facing Mendocino College on day two.
