NEXT LEVEL: Raymond Escobedo Signs with Bethel
NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Allan Hancock College kicker, Raymond Escobedo, will continue his athletic and academic career at Bethel College next season.
"I chose Bethel because I believe that they are going to help me become the best player I can be while allowing me to continue pursuing my education," Escobedo shared.
Escobedo spent one season on the field for the Bulldogs. The Santa Maria native finished the season with a 4-for-8 mark on field goals attempted, with his longest made shot coming from 31 yards out. Escobedo also converted 24 of his 27 extra-point tries.
"My time at Hancock has helped me tremendously on the field, as well as off the field, allowing me to grow as a person," Escobedo added. "Spending my first season here helped me to prepare mentally and physically to compete at the next level."
The Threshers are a member of the NAIA and compete in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference.
