Football: Two Bulldogs Land All-League Honors
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Two members of the Allan Hancock College football team were recognized as postseason award honorees for the National Northern League as part of the Southern California Football Association.
Jacob Garbiso picked up a Second Team All-League designation for the second season in a row as an offensive lineman. The Arroyo Grande High School alum served a crucial role on AHC's line throughout the season, earning eight appearances while missing one contest due to injury.
Fika Salatielu was also named as a Second Team honoree as a defensive end. The sophomore from Santa Barbara finished the season with five sacks and 39 tackles after appearing in nine contests.
The Bulldogs finished the fall campaign with an overall record of 4-6 while landing in a two-way tie for fifth place in conference play with a 3-4 mark.
