NEXT LEVEL: Seumalo to Join Montana Roster
MISSOULA, Mont. - Allan Hancock College defensive lineman, Zekiel Seumalo, will continue his athletic and academic career at the University of Montana this fall.
"The University of Montana really just fit the picture I had in my head for where I wanted to be moving forward," Seumalo stated. "When I started my recruiting process with Montana, I really felt like it was a place where I could see myself succeeding in the future - on and off the field. It's also closer to home and to my family."
Seumalo completed his second season in a Bulldogs uniform last fall. The Washington native registered 33 tackles and 3.5 sacks after appearing in all 10 games on the season during his sophomore campaign. At the conclusion of the season, Seumalo picked up Second Team All-League recognition for his critical role on AHC's defensive side.
"My time here at Hancock helped me mature in many ways. I truly learned how to become an adult while becoming more consistent and disciplined in all aspects of life," Seumalo added. "My coaches here did a great job of showing me that football comes with many life lessons that you can take with you as you grow."
The Grizzlies are a Division I member of the NCAA and compete in the Big Sky Conference.
