NEXT LEVEL: Jack Gentile to Join Black Hills State Roster

SPEARFISH, S.D. - Allan Hancock College defensive back, Jack Gentile, will continue his academic and athletic career at Black Hills State University in the fall.

"When I took my visit, I really loved the town and the tight-knit community feel. I also really liked the culture that the coaches are building at Black Hills, and I like that everyone on the team is all bought into the same goal," Gentile shared. 

Gentile, a product of Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas, wrapped up his second season with the Bulldogs in the fall. He was named as a Second Team All-League selection after totaling 62 tackles, two forced fumbles, and one interception through 10 contests. As a freshman, Gentile tallied 20 tackles and two interceptions (105 yards) after 11 appearances. 

"My time at AHC prepared me to go against some top-level competition and taught me how to really work at the collegiate level," Gentile added. "Hancock also developed me as a person and a player, not only to be confident in my game but also in everyday life." 

 The Yellow Jackets are a Division II member of the NCAA and compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
