SARTINI MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

SANTA MARIA - Quarterback Blake Sartini (Fr., Las Vegas, NV) led his Allan Hancock College football team to a big Western State Conference victory over Bakersfield 22-17 on Saturday, October 2. For his leadership and clutch play, Sartini was named the male athlete of the week at the weekly meeting of the Northern Santa Barbara County Roundtable.

Hancock (3-2, 1-2 WSC) came from behind to beat previously undefeated Bakersfield. Sartini was 13 of 22 with two big touchdowns, including the game winner in the fourth quarter when he connected on a fifty yard touchdown pass to Ryan Bugg (So., Atascadero HS).

The Bulldogs have a bye week. They will next play on Saturday, October 16 when they visit L.A. Southwest for an afternoon contest. The game will be broadcast on KUHL 1440 AM and KTME 1410 AM with a pre-game show starting at 12:30 p.m
