SIX FOOTBALL PLAYERS MAKE COMITTMENTS TO FOUR-YEAR SCHOOLS
SANTA MARIA - Head football coach Kris Dutra has announced the first wave of Allan Hancock College football players who have committed to a continuation of their education and football careers.
Led by all-conference linebacker, Trevor Shamblee, six student-athletes have committed to four year schools. Shamblee (6-0, 205, Jamaica Queens, NY) will attend Fresno State University, continuing on as a Bulldog.
Other sophmores moving on includes, Ryan Bugg (WR, 6-0, 194, Atascadero HS) to Tulsa University, Kris Elliott (DL, 6-5, 253, Righetti HS) will attend Eastern Oregon, Trevor Lady (OL, 6-1, 270, Arroyo Grande HS) to Redlands and Blake Sartini (QB, 6-3, 215, Las Vegas, NV) will go to UNLV. Taureen Valentine (DB, 5-11, 170, Allentown, PA) will return to his home state and play at Edinboro University.
Coach Dutra announced that at least ten to fifteen players have yet to make their final decisions.
