NEXT LEVEL: Braden Oliver Commits to Lewis-Clark State
LEWISTON, Idaho - Allan Hancock College outfielder, Braden Oliver, will continue his academic and athletic career at Lewis-Clark State College next season.
"I chose Lewis-Clark because I get to play in one of the most competitive baseball programs there is in college baseball. I'll have the opportunity to continue the Warriors' historic excellence in their program and compete for a national championship every year," Oliver stated. "I have full confidence in Coach Robbins and the rest of the Lewis-Clark State coaching staff to turn me into the best baseball player and person that I can become."
Oliver wrapped up his second season with the Bulldogs this spring, exiting with a well-decorated junior college resume. The Las Vegas native was a two-time First Team All-Conference and WSC Gold Glove recipient. As a sophomore, he finished the season with a .320 batting average while notching 43 RBIs and 11 stolen bases. The centerfielder was also named to the ABCA/Rawlings Pacific Association Division Gold Glove Team after posting 122 putouts and two assists on 125 total chances in the grass.
"AHC surrounded me with wonderful teammates and a coaching staff that allowed me to play for the program instead of playing for myself," Oliver added. "That mindset of playing for the guys beside me will allow me to be successful, regardless of any situation that I am put in."
The Warriors compete in the NAIA and are members of the Cascade Collegiate Conference.
