NEXT LEVEL: Shaine Heriford Heading to Park University

GILBERT, Ariz. - Allan Hancock College outfielder, Shaine Heriford, will continue his academic and athletic career at Park (AZ) University next season.

The product of Bakersfield wrapped up his second season with the Bulldogs in the spring. He finished the year with an overall batting average of .146 while notching five stolen bases and driving in a pair of runs through 23 games. As a freshman, Heriford recorded three doubles and one homer en route to a .264 on-base percentage. 

The Buccaneers are a member of the NAIA and compete in the Great Southwest Athletic Conference.
