Bulldogs Apply Pressure in 7–1 Win at Antelope Valley
SANTA MARIA, Calif. — The Allan Hancock College baseball team applied steady offensive pressure and filled the strike zone on the mound in a 7–1 road victory over Antelope Valley College on Friday afternoon. |BOX SCORE
Hancock put runners on base in every inning, finishing with 14 hits and nine walks to consistently stress the AVC defense. La'akea Ko led the way offensively, going 4-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Parker Schwake and Cesar Garcia each drove in two runs. Josue Garcia and Granite Seibt also added RBIs as the Bulldogs scored in five different innings.
On the mound, Ryan Cronk earned his 3rd win of the season, after allowing just one run over five innings, working efficiently and attacking the strike zone. The bullpen trio of Seth Tedeschi, Gage Mattis, and Hunter Beck combined for four scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and no walks to close the game.
The Bulldogs return to action Tuesday at College of the Canyons.
