The women's cross country team sent two runners to the Western State Conference Championships last week at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura.
Jassmine Macon of Glendale won the individual title with a time of 20:11.19, nine seconds ahead of the runner-up.
Glendale won the team title for the fourth straight year. Canyons and Bakersfield rounded out the top three, followed by Ventura, Citrus, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica, Cuesta, Moorpark and Oxnard. The Bulldogs did not qualify for the team competition because they did not not have five runners.
