Miller begins her second season as head coach of Hancock’s women’s water polo program. Miller was named the 2016 Western State Conference’s Coach of the Year after leading the Bulldogs to a 14-win season and fourth-place finish in the conference tournament. Miller spent the 2015 season, the program's inaugural season, as an assistant coach.

Miller played four years of varsity water polo at Cabrillo High School, where she was a three-time All-CIF First Team selection and the league Most Valuable Player her senior season. She went on to play four years at San Diego State University. She was an All-Conference Scholar Athlete, and the team’s MVP her senior season. She finished her career in the Aztecs’ Top 10 for most career steals and assists. She received a criminal justice degree from SDSU. Miller is married and the mother of two children, Cooper and Quinn.
