Women's Soccer is Playoff Bound for the First Time in Allan Hancock College History

Hancock, who ended the regular season at 8-8-6 enters the playoffs as the 18th seed. This marks the first time in Allan Hancock College history that the Lady Bulldogs have made it to the first round of the CCCAA Regional Playoffs. The women's soccer team heads to the Orange County Great Park Soccer Fields in Irvine, CA to play No. 15 Saddleback College on Thursday, November 21, at 2:00 PM.

Allan Hancock College Men's and Women's Soccer Head Coach Billy Vinnedge released a brief statement about the women's program this year saying, "it feels amazing being part of history. Everything we do as coaches is to benefit the players and this program. We are excited to start a new season Thursday and take it one game at a time. These women have changed a program that didn't exist two years ago and put Hancock Soccer on the map. I am beyond proud of this team."

The winner of the game will go on to play No. 2 Rio Hondo on Saturday, November 22, at 7:00 PM.
