Uribe is part of Hancock’s prestigious Bridges to Baccalaureate program that helps students transfer to four-year universities and pursue careers in the biomedical or behavior sciences. As part of the program, he spent last summer working at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a research team to study the effects of bisphenol-A (BPA) on insulin and glucose levels. The kinesiology major plans to become an epidemiologist. Uribe ran track and cross country for Pioneer Valley High School.
