Vinnedge begins his fifth season as the head coach of the men’s soccer program and first as head coach of the women’s program at Allan Hancock College. Under his guidance, the men’s soccer team has increased its win totals every year. Last fall, the Bulldog won 10 games for the first time in seven seasons. Vinnedge had six players earn All-Conference honors. Migel Gomez became the first Bulldog to be named the Western State Conference’s Player of the Year in 15 seasons and fourth in program history. Gomez earned a Division I scholarship to play for UC Santa Barbara. Gomez also earned a spot on the Al-State Team, while Saul Ayuso received All-Region honors.

The Arroyo Grande High graduate was an All-Conference kicker for the Hancock football team in 2004 and 2005. He transferred to the University of Wyoming and served as the team’s punter and kicker for two seasons. He earned All-Mountain West Conference honors for football and academics his senior season. Vinnedge spent one preseason in the NFL with the San Diego Chargers. In January 2018, Vinnedge was inducted into Arroyo Grande High School’s Eagle Athletic Foundation Hall of Fame.

Vinnedge arrived at Hancock after he spent six years as the boy’s soccer coach at Nipomo High School, including the last four at the varsity level. He guided the Titans to four consecutive C.I.F. playoff appearances and the program’s first-ever Los Padres League title.

Vinnedge earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Wyoming. He works as a launch site support engineer at Vandenberg Air Force Base. He also operates a kicking academy on the Central Coast to train placekickers and punters from throughout the state. Vinnedge lives in Arroyo Grande with his wife, Trina, and daughter, Chloe.
