Two Bulldogs Sign on National Signing Day

Seth Ollice and Dominic King sign letters of intent to continue their football careers at the collegiate level on National Football Signing Day.

Sophomore defensive end Seth Ollice signed a letter of intent to play for Western State Colorado University next season. The Righetti high school product recorded 20 tackles on the season and was a 2nd team all-conference selection. Ollice recorded 17 total tackles in seven games for the Bulldogs as a freshman in 2017.

"I'm in awe," said Ollice. "I didn't expect to play at the next level. This area has a lot of great athletes and coaches. I am just excited for the next step." When asked about leaving California, Ollice said, "I am excited to try something different. Its far but I'll be back!"

Sophomore Defensive Tackle Dominic King will stay local, signing  a letter of intent to play football for the Cal Poly University Mustangs next season. The St. Joseph's product received 1st team all-conference honors. King collected 21 solo tackles, with 9 coming in conference play. As a freshman, King recorded 22 total tackles, including seven tackles for lost yardage. King was an all-league defensive lineman as a senior for St. Joseph High School his first and only year playing high school football.

"I don't know how to put it into words," said King. "All of the hard work. Seeing all the blood, sweat, and tears pay off. I'm just a local boy and my goal is to create a legacy here in the central coast."

The Bulldogs finished with a 10-1 record for the Bulldogs, including going undefeated in conference (5-0). The nearly perfect season resulted in an American Pacific League Conference Championship and American Bowl Championship.

"Both players are excellent examples of juco football," said Head Assistant Coach Seth Damron. "They worked hard in the weight-room, on the field, but most importantly the classroom."
