Miller enters her fourth season as an assistant coach and recruitment coordinator at Hancock. She graduated from Santa Maria High and played basketball for two years with Hancock. Miller transferred to San Francisco State University where she received a degree in speech and communication studies. Miller went on to earn a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on athletes and academic achievement from UC Berkeley.
Miller attributes Hancock for much of her success. She strives to help players not only become better athletes on the court, but also better individuals off the court. Miller focuses on strength and conditioning, as well as recruiting for the team. She is excited to be in charge of recruiting because she is living proof student-athletes can continue their careers at four-year universities.
Miller serves as the manager of corporate and community relations at Brandman University. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys competing in triathlons, surfing, volunteering in the community, being outdoors, and spending time with her dog.
